SUPRMIX® DAP

SUPRMIX® DAP by Hallstar is a diallyl phthalate (60-90 wt%) in hydrated amorphous silica carrier (10-40 wt%). It is a polymerizable plasticizer. It functions as a typical phthalate plasticizer in the uncured states of the compound (such as during mixing and extruding). It contains two allyl groups per molecule that allow cross-linking to increase the cured cross-link density and to lock the plasticizer in place. Though is not viscous, it is relatively expensive when compared to the standard phthalate and adipate monomeric plasticizers. SUPRMIX® DAP solves the handling, weighing, and mixing problems because Hallstar uses an amorphous silica carrier that turns the liquid into a free- flowing powdered dispersion. Eliminates drum disposal and need for heating viscous liquid. Reduces employee exposure, waste and clean up time. Provides higher yield on usage and improved safety. Complies with TSCA, DSL/NDSL, EINECS/ELINCS, ENCS, IECSC, KECL and AICS.
