2,5-Thiophenediylbis(5-tert.butyl-1,3-benzoxazole). Acts as an optical brightening agent. Can also be used as fluorescent whitening agent. Offers exceptional whitening properties, excellent resistance to heat, good light fastness and low volatility. Suitable for various polymers at all stages of processing. Particularly useful for engineering plastics including polyesters, polycarbonates, polyamides and acrylics, thermoplastic polyurethanes, PVC, polyolefins, styrene and copolymers. Recommended for indirect food contact.
