Sodium Benzene Phosphinate (SBP) by ICL Industrial is a sodium phenylphosphinate. It provides light and heat stabilization in polyamide resins and other formulations. It is excellent for nylon color stability and brightness. It acts as a light and heat stabilizer. It is stable to water. It liberates benzene phosphinic acid with non-oxidizing acids. Sodium Benzene Phosphinate (SBP) reacts rapidly with oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide to form sodium phenylphosphonate.
