ImerFlex® HAR® T20

ImerFlex® HAR® T20 by Imerys is a low environmental impact, high aspect ration talc-based natural functional filler produced using a proprietary delaminating process. It is used in partial replacement of carbon black. It is far more lamellar than other conventionally micronised grades.

• It offers improved barrier properties which enables tire manufacturers to reduce tire permeability by upto 40%, improved rolling resistance and fuel consumption.
• It is densified, improves the impermeability of inner liners and has excellent flow properties for easy handling.
• It combines rubber reinforcement with processability, providing lower compound viscosity for improved flow in extrusion and molding applications.
• ImerFlex® HAR® T20 limits oxygen diffusion, prevents steel cord oxidation, improves tire durability, scorch time and improves cut-growth resistance.
