KLJ-DINA

Adipic acid ester of C9 alcohol. Clear oily liquid, free of foreign materials. Acts as an effective, primary plasticizer for PVC and PVC copolymers. Does not dissolve in water. Shows solubility in organic solvents, like the chloroform, gasolene, ethyl acetate, methanol, toluene, mineral oil, vegetable oil, etc, and shows slight solubility in ethylene glycol. Imparts very good low temperature flexibility and resistance to impact to the base resin. Exhibits miscibility and compatibility with all the monomeric plasticizers commonly used in vinyl. Used in polymeric systems based on vinyl, nitrocellulose and rubber.
