KVIS-30 by Kothari Petrochemicals acts as a cling additive in stretch/cling film manufacturing. It is a viscous, non-toxic, chemically inert, high molecular weight polyisobutylene (PIB) grade.

It functions as a tackifier for linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE).
It is either incorporated directly into film extrusion or through a PIB masterbatch.
Films made by incorporating KVIS-30 exhibit good clarity, durability and cling properties.
The recommended applications for tackified LLDPE are pallet stretch wrap and bale silage wrap.
It possesses very low toxicity, making it suitable for use in domestic cling film meant for food wrap.
It has a shelf life of 12 months.
