IBADIC by LANXESS is an isobutyl aluminum di-chloride-based catalyst. It possesses at least one-carbon-metal bond and provides alkylating-, reducing- and lewis-acid properties. It is suitable for the manufacture of polyolefins and synthetic elastomers & rubbers with Ziegler-Natta-catalysts and used in organic synthesis.
