K-FLEX® 500

K-FLEX® 500 by Lanxess is a blend of di-propylene glycol dibenzoate and diethylene glycol dibenzoate in a ratio of about one to one by weight. It offers excellent performance of diethylene glycol dibenzoate but with the added advantage of the better handling characteristics imparted by di-propylene glycol dibenzoate. It is a polar, high solvating plasticizer like K-Flex DP. Possesses compatibility with polar polymers such as polyvinyl acetate. K-FLEX® 500 is used for PVC applications. Can also be used for plastisols, as an excellent solvator for use in such applications as resilient flooring.
