Scorchguard® O by Lanxess is a vulcanization activator and acid acceptor. It is a blend of 74% activated magnesium oxide and 26% organic binders. It reduces mixing times in CR and other halogen-containing compounds, thereby reducing energy consumption. Scorchguard® O is used for extruded and injection-molded technical articles based on CR, CIIR, CSM, CM and adhesives based on CR.
