C-TEC™ CTZB400

C-TEC CTZB400 by Marshall Additive Technologies is an ultra-fine, zinc borate-based flame retardant/smoke suppressant. It offers increased char strength, reduced smoke, afterglow suppression and arc/track. It can retain its water of hydration at high enough temperatures to process polyamides, polypropylene and thermoplastic elastomers. It is used in halogenated polymers such as PVC. It is designed for use in polyethylene, epoxies and rubbers. Applications of C-TEC CTZB400 include jacketing and insulation for plenum & riser cables, wall coverings, urethane foams and belting.
