FD409

FD409 by Marshall Additive Technologies is a reactive synergist blend-based fire retardant. FD409 provides good balance of flame retardant performance and reduced cost when used as an antimony trioxide replacement. It is suitable for PVC, CPE and other polymer systems where bromine or chlorine-based halogenated flame retardant is used. Depending on the specific polymer compound formulation it is typically possible to replace between 30 & 50% antimony trioxide.
