Silcat® R

Silcat® R by Momentive Performance Materials is a crosslinking vinyl silane. Acts as a curing agent. Provides higher maximum use temperature, reduced deformation under load (creep), memory characteristics (for shrink film & tubing) and improved impact strength. Exhibits improved chemical resistance, superior environmental stress crack resistance and increased abrasion resistance. Silcat® R is designed to modify polyethylene resins and provide a means of crosslinking via moisture cure.
