SM 2128 by Momentive Performance Materials is a non-ionic emulsion. It is used as a mold release agent for food packaging, rubber, plastics, and latex dip additive. Exhibits good lubricity, easy release, high-temperature stability, and low volatility of silicone fluid. It is chemically inert and water dispersible. It is used in textiles for fiber and thread lubricants. SM 2128 is also used as a water-repellent agent for particle treatment.
