Tospearl® 145FL

Tospearl® 145FL by Momentive Performance Materials is a spherical methyl silsesquioxane bead with narrow particle size distribution and a mean particle diameter of approximately 4 microns. Acts as an anti-block agent. Has uniform particle size, thermal stability and low surface energy. Can be compounded with thermoplastics using typical polymer processing equipment (e.g., extruders) because of high heat resistance. It can also help to achieve stable and low coefficient of friction (CoF) surfaces after the film when extrusion beads do not migrate. It does not typically cause a change in the printability of films. Tospearl® 145FL is used in BOPP films for various packaging applications in which slip and anti-block properties are required. It is FDA-compliant.
