Bright 100 (OB) by MPI Chemie is a high molecular weight, thiophenediyl benzoxazole-based optical brightener (fluorescent whitening agent). It is used in combination with a UV absorber. This additive possesses intrinsic light fastness properties. Bright 100 (OB) is designed to brighten colors or mask yellowing in plastics and fibers. It absorbs invisible ultraviolet radiation and re-emits it as visible light in the blue range of the spectrum. Recommended for indoor use, wire & cable, ABS in consumer electronics and PET/PBT for connectors, solar panels & frames.
