Coad® 13F Calcium Stearate

High grade calcium stearate. It acts as a catalyst neutralizer in polypropylene, as a dispersing aid during the blending cycle, as a lubricant and processing aid during extrusion. Also acts as a mold release agent for injecting molding. It appears as free flowing white powder with slight fatty odor. It is practically insoluble in water. It offers a finer particle size that readily disperses during blending or processing to provide excellent mold release and lubricating properties. It is developed for the polyolefin, SMC and BMC processing industry. It is designed for polymers where filterability through screenpacks is critical. It meets the requirements of PPI-TR3 and NSF Standard 14 for potable water.
