Accicure® ZDBC by PMC Group is a zinc dibutyl dithiocarbamate. Acts as an accelerator. Possesses high solubility in rubber tending to give better transparency and lower risk of blooming from vulcanisates. Is insoluble in water and soluble in choloroform. Has highest solubility in EPDM rubbers and is a preferred accelerator in combination with others for non-blooming EPDM compound applications which entail extruded profiles for automobiles.
