BL PE 30 A

BL PE 30 A by Polytechs is a 30% blowing agent masterbatch containing azodicarbonamide in LDPE carrier. It also contains a mineral nucleating agent. It is mainly used for polyethylene applications like insulation of hot water pipes, expanded films, cables, PP gift wrapping tapes. This masterbatch may also be used in PP if the relatively small quantity of LDPE is compatible with PP used. The starting decomposition temperature of the blowing agent is approx.160°C. The volume of gaz generated by decomposition is around 65 cm3 per gram of BL PE 30 A. It is possible with 3.5% by weight of BL PE 30 A, to obtain a PE density of approx. 0.4.
