Bis (3-triethoxysilylpropyl) disulfide. It acts as a coupling agent. Exhibits stability at high temperature, improved flex life, increased modulus, better adhesion and better heat aging. Provides improvement in the dispersion of the silica into a rubber and dynamic property. Improves the productivity of rubber processing, low heat buildup property and abrasion resistance. Possesses cutting-, aging- and chunking resistance. Offers better load bearing, reduced water swell and lower hysteresis. Used in footwear, rolls, mechanical molded goods, hose, solid tires, flat- and V belts.
