PREADD AB 576

Synthetic silica antiblock masterbatch with PP as the carrier polymer. It is developed especially for polypropylene cast and blown films. PREADD AB 576 has been developed for applications where an antiblock, antislip or matting effect is desired. Due to its excellent dispersion in the masterbatch the antiblocking effect can be achieved at relatively low dosing levels. It does not affect the transparency of the film at given additional levels. It shows a good antiblock effect at addition level of 0.5-2%, matting at 10-40 % and antislip effect at 2-5%. PREADD AB 576 is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to FDA regulations without limitations and according to BgVV regulations as long as the dosage level of PREADD AB 576 is less than 6 %.
