SAFOAM® CAN-550 by Reedy Chemical Foam is an olefinic nucleating agent. It is available in pellet form. It helps improve cell dispersion, size and uniformity in extrusion processes using chemical foam or in direct-gas applications using hydrocarbon gases, CFC, HCFC, CO2, NO2, or any combination of the above. SAFOAM® CAN-550 is suitable for use in co-axial and CAT V cable, monofilament, film, sheet and board.
