KarenzMT™ BD1 by Resonac (formerly Showa Denko) is dicyclopentenyl acrylate monomer with lower ionic impurities. It is prepared by trans-esterification method.

It possesses high glass transition temperature (T_g), hydrophobic properties, good reducibility and good adhesiveness.
It shows no change in water resistance, good product stability and lower skin irritation.
It is curable with metallic drier and displays no pealing in PC, PMMA & ABS.
KarenzMT™ BD1 is registered with Japan, TSCA, EINECS, China, Korea and Taiwan.
