Rhenogran® Li₂CO₃-50/HNBR (GE 2058)

Rhenogran® Li₂CO₃-50/HNBR (GE 2058) by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an acid acceptor for HNBR. In combination with anti-oxidant, in the cross-linking of HNBR significantly improves the hot air aging of the hydrogenated nitrile vulcanizates. It offers excellent dispersion and easy processing of the compound. It reduces the swelling resistance to aqueous media of HNBR vulcanizates. This binder system is designed for excellent compatibility with the polymer of applications allowing complete dispersion in the rubber compound after a short mixing time. It is used for technical rubber articles based on HNBR, e.g. automotive coolant- and fluid circuits. Recommended dosage level of Rhenogran® Li₂CO₃-50/HNBR (GE 2058) is 3-6 phr. It has a shelf life of 1 year.
