SV CAT 102

SV CAT 102 by S V Plastochem is a clear pale yellow butyltin tris (2-ethylhexoate) liquid. It is an effective liquid organo tin compound for esterifications and trans-esterifications. It is used in preparation of plasicizers, saturated and unsaturated polyesters and polyester Resins.

• Being a neutral catalyst, neutralization and washing can be eliminated.
• It can be easily used in stainless steel reactors and side reactions are also minimized.
• In the preparation of phthalate plasticizers, a catalyst level of 0.03 % by weight of phthalic anhydride is recommended and acid value upto 0.1 may be reach within four hours.
• SV CAT 102 is slightly soluble in water at 20°C.
