SABO® STAB UV 64 by Sabo is 1,6−hexanediamine, N,N’−bis(2,2,6,6−tetramethyl−4−piperidinyl)−, polymers with morpholine 2,4,6− trichloro)−1,3,5−triazine reaction products, methylated. It is a hindered amine light stabilizer. It is non-discoloring and has low volatility and excellent resistance to migration. Provides outstanding thermal oxidative stability as well as light stability. It is effective in a broad range of polymers and applications, including polyolefins (PE, PP), TPO, styrenic polymers (ABS, ASA), polyamide fibers, polyurethanes, and elastomers. SABO® STAB UV 64 is useful in the stabilization of PE-based agricultural films and talc-filled PP and TPO automotive parts. Suitable for use in food contact applications. SABO® STAB UV 64 typical addition levels range from 0.05-1%, depending upon the application. It is listed on the ECL, ENCS, IECSC, PICCS, NZIoC, AICS, DSL and TSCA chemical inventories. It has a shelf life of 5 years.
