SABOFOG® PGL

SABOFOG® PGL by Sabo is a polyglycerol ester anti-fog agent. It is 100% synthetized from bio-based vegetables sources and is readily biodegradable (OECD 301). It offers excellent heat stability and low discoloring. It shows synergistic performance when used in combination with ethoxylated alkylamine esters. It is approved in food contact applications and suitable for food packaging and greenhouse films applications. SABOFOG® PGL is used in plastics such as LDPE, LLDPE, EVA, and PVC. Recommended addition levels for SABOFOG® PGL range from 0.5-1.5% in food packaging applications and 1-2% in greenhouses cold fog. The shelf life of the grade is 12 months.
