Active Plus™ PA17L

Active Plus™ PA17L by SCG Chemicals is a fluorinated processing aids masterbatch which is specially designed to use with polyolefin based polymer and also effective for many other applications which require a smooth surface. PA17L creates lubricity coating on the metallic surfaces of processing equipment like barrel and die surfaces. The coating decreases the friction between molten resin and die wall then resulting in surface defects (shark skin and melt fracture elimination). Has no effect to film surface chemistry/mechanical properties and no effect to converting processes (heat sealing and printing process). Offers melt fracture elimination/operating pressure reduction. Provides die build-up alleviation/gel formation during processing reduction and faster color transition promotion. Active Plus™ PA17L is used for blown film extrusion, cast film extrusion and cable extrusion.
