ES CAT #5500

ES CAT #5500 by Sehotech is a monobutyltin oxide. Acts as a catalyst and a blowing agent. It minimizes the dehydration and oxidative degradation of alcohols. It is insoluble in most organic solvents and dissolves with reaction in carboxylic acids. Used in polyurethane foams as blowing agent. Also used in esterification, transesterification and polycondensation reactions of unsaturated polyesters, alkyd resins, phthalates and terephthalates. The recommended dosage for ES CAT #5500 by Sehotech is 0.05% to 25% by weight based on total charge.
