1,8-Diazabicyclo-[5,4,0]undec-7-ene (DBU) by Shandong Xinhua Pharma acts as hardener for epoxy resin, antirust agent and catalyst for polyurethane resin & polyurethane foamed plastic. It is used to prepare high grade corrosion inhibitor and deacidification. It is also used as curing accelerator of epoxy resin for integrated circuit and electronic component packaging.

It offers high catalytic activity of low odor gel catalyst, mainly used in the need for strong gel catalysis, including the formulation containing alicyclic isocyanates or aliphatic isocyanates.
It can be used for integral skin foam, microporous elastomer, rigid foam and other formulations.
It shows resistance to humidity, heat and high pressure cooking.
