Longlock MTT by Shanghai LanMone New Material Technology is a 2-mercaptobenzothiazole accelerator. It provides improved scorch performance, fast curing and safety of operation. It can be diluted in toluene and methanol. It is slightly soluble in acetone and insoluble in gasoline and water. It is a heterolytic compound containing active sulfur atom. It is available in greyish-white liquid or powder form. Longlock MTT is compatible with chlorinated butyl-, vulcanized butyl- and chloroprene rubber. It is easy to disperse and is used in the manufacturing of cable and tapes. The shelf life is 1 year.
