KBE 846 by Shin-Etsu is bis(triethoxysilylpropyl)tetrasulfide. Used as a coupling agent for sulfer-crosslinked EPM, SBR, nitrile, epichlorhydrin, neoprene, polysulfide and urethane rubber. KBE 846 improves mechanical strength, moisture, chemical resistance and electrical properties.
