KBM 803 by Shin-Etsu is 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane. Used as a silane coupling agent for polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, urethane, ABS, phenol, epoxy, urethane, polybutadiene rubber, polyisoprene rubber, sulphur-crosslinked EPM, peroxide crosslinked EPDM, polysulfide, SBR, epichlorhydrin, nitrile-, neoprene- and urethane rubber.

Improves mechanical strength, moisture and chemical resistance and electrical properties.
KBM 803 is solvent free and is suitable for organic solvent- and water based system.
