NanOsil ASD

NanOsil ASD is a high purity, hydrophillic, nucleating agent and processing aid by Starbetter Chemical Materials. It is an ultra-fine (sub-micron), spherical, discrete, non-agglomerated, non-porous, amorphous colloidal silicon dioxide. It is produced through high temperature hydrolysis in a hydrogen oxygen flame. Recommended for PP, PE, PVC, POM, ABS, PBT, PA, PC, LCP and PEEK. Suitable for processing using twin-screw extrusion. It reduces cycle time, improves flow lines, color dispersion and certain physical properties. It works effectively at 0.4-1% level for most semi-crystalline resins. NanOsil ASD is approved by FDA for usage of <1 %.
