ST-AMGP

ST-AMGP by Starbetter Chemical Materials acts as a modifier for polyolefins. It is derived from specialty amines where polar amine group is grafted into PP through proper linking group. This results in a product resembling surfactant with a typical “head to tail” molecule. Offers increased surface energy, polarity and hydrophilicity. Provides improved interpolymer adhesion, paintability, dyeability, printability and antistatic properties. It can be compounded with polyolefins by a twin-screw extruder. Recommended dosage level of ST-AMGP is 5-15%.
