SUNOVIN® 5523

SUNOVIN® 5523 by SUNSHOW is a high molecular weight UV absorber based on hydroxyphenyl benzotriazole class. It is recommended for PC, PBT, TPE, TPV, PA, ABS, PU, PVC, PS, HIPS, PE and acrylics. It is highly effective in polymers that are processed at high temperature (decomposition temperature >350°C). It exhibits strong absorption of UV radiation in the 300-400 nm regions. SUNOVIN® 5523 shows low initial color, low volatility during high processing temperatures and good extraction resistance. Sanctioned for use in polyolefin by FDA.
