Catechol by Syensqo is a 1,2-dihydroxybenzene ortho dihydroxybenzene pyrocatechol-based tanning agent, antioxidant agent, bonding agent and anti-corrosion agent. It is available in flakes and molten foam. It is suitable for rubber, olefins and polyolefins and polyurethanes. Catechol has a shelf life of 5 years for the flakes and 2 years for the molten form.
