2-(3',5'-di-t-butyl-2'-hydroxyphenyl) –5-chlorobenzotriazole. Acts as a ultraviolet light absorber. It belongs to the family of substituted benzotriazoles, which protect against ultraviolet radiation. Has excellent stability to heat and light, low volatility, good color, faint odor, superior wash fastness, and resistance to gas fading. Used for stabilizing ABS, polyester, styrenics, urethanes, and pigment.
