Water-washed, large particle size, acid filler kaolin clay. Acts as an excellent functional filler. Aids in increasing the processing speed. Has a platy structure, large particle size, purity and good aspect ratio. Ensures low resin demand and the ability to aid in glass and fiver carrying and mold flow. Helps reducing crazing and shrinkage, and assists in moderating the exotherm. Improves the physical properties of the rigid-PVC compound, heat deflection temperature (HDT), tensile strength, and coefficient of linear thermal expansion (CLTE) (depending upon the loading and the other components in the formulation). Provides a good surface appearance and is conducive for higher loadings. Designed for r-PVC compounds and glass reinforced thermosets such as pultrusion profiles, sheet molding compounds and bulk molding compounds. Recommended for use in extrusion applications.
