PowerNox™ 2450

PowerNox™ 2450 by TinToll (PCC Group) is a high performance sterically hindered phenolic primary antioxidant for organic polymers. It is a triethylene glycol-bis-3-(3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl) propionate. It can be used as a chain stopper in PVC and ABS manufacturing process. It exhibits a synergistic effect when used in combination with thioester antioxidants. It protects polymer against thermo-oxidative degradation during the manufacturing processes and in end-use applications. It imparts low volatility, good color stability and extraction resistance. It can be used with benzotriazoles or HALS for thermal- and light stabilization in outdoor use. It is soluble in n-hexane, benzene, dichloromethane and styrene. PowerNox™ 2450 is compatible with styrenics, synthetic rubbers, POM homo & copolymer, polyurethanes, polyamides, polyesters, MBS and PVC.
