Aluprem® SR-100 MES

Aluminum oxihydrate. Acts as a flame retardant/ char promoting filler. It offers an excellent processing behavior, low alkalinity, moisture / good resin compatibility, improved mechanical properties as well as high temperature stability. Possesses chemical purity, high whiteness/translucency, excellent electrical properties and scratch resistance. Used in engineering thermoplastics and polyolefins. Can be used for applications in halogen-free polymer systems. It is ideal for use in partially replacing (10-20% of loading) other FR products such as magnesium hydroxide, ATH or phosphorus to achieve the most stringent UL 94 VO flame retardant rating.
