Phosphorus based flame retardant. It is a durable non-halogen flame retardant for polyester and durable to semi-durable flame retardant for cellulose fibers. Can be cross linked with melamine powder or used with many latex formulating materials such as acrylic and urethane thickeners. It is used to meet NFPA 701, DOC FF 3-71, MVSS-302 and NFPA 701 flammability test protocol. Used in textiles, non-wovens and back-coatings.
