EcoFlame B-1025 by Unibrom is decabromodiphenyl ethane. It acts as an aromatic brominated flame retardant. Due to its oligomeric nature, high bromine content and excellent thermal stability, it exhibits inherent advantages over other halogenated FR additives. Its use is advantageous when good process-ability, good impact, excellent compatibility with fiber reinforcement and electrical properties are required. EcoFlame B-1025 is especially suitable for engineering thermoplastics, PET, PBT, nylon and styrenic copolymers.
