Tert.amylperoxy-2-ethyl hexanoate. It acts as an initiator (radical source) in the polymerization of monomers, e.g. ethylene, styrene, allyl monomer and (meth)acrylates for bulk or suspension in combination with thermally more stable peroxides. It is liquid therefore, easy to dose and readily miscible with high boiling aliphatics. It appears as a colorless mobile liquid having a molecular weight of 230.3 g/mol.
