TBPEHC by United Initiators acts as an initiator (radical source) in the polymerization of monomers, e.g. ethylene, styrene in bulk or suspension in combination with other stable peroxides of different activity and active per-esters. Also used for crosslinking of EVA in the field of encapsulation of crystalline solar cells with no discoloration due to the high purity. Provides an advantage of reducing the residual monomer content in the polymer. It appears as a colorless mobile liquid having a molecular weight of 264.4 g/mol.
