It acts as a nucleating agent masterbatch. It is in form of ultrathin inorganic particles. It improves & reinforces the cellular structure of XPS food trays in comparison to conventional talc concentrates and chemical blowing agents. It enables weight reduction (up to 10%) and improved dimensional stability without impairing mechanical performance. The recommended dosage is 1-2%. It complies with FDA regulation.
