PUREstab 1098

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Vyridis
PUREstab 1098 by Vyridis is a sterically hindered phenolic primary antioxidant. It is a non-discoloring, long-term stabilizer which protects organic substrates such as plastics, synthetic fibers, elastomers, polyamide polymers and fibers against thermo-oxidative degradation. It exhibits excellent compatibility, high resistance to extraction and low volatility with very low order of oral toxicity. It offers excellent processing, long-term thermal stability and excellent initial resin color. It is easily dispersed into the polymer by conventional extrusion compounding techniques. PUREstab 1098 is especially suitable for polyamide molded parts, fibers and films. It is also recommended for polyacetals, polyesters, polyurethanes, elastomers and other organic substrates. Its recommended dosage level is 0.05-1.0% depending on the polymer type and and stability requirements.
