WESTCO™ AO-2246 by Western Reserve Chemical is a highly effective, non-staining, non-discoloring phenolic antioxidant. It is used as the primary stabilizer in a wide range of synthetic elastomers including polybutadiene, styrene-butadiene, neoprene, butyl, halobutyl and nitrile rubber.

WESTCO™ AO-2246 can be used in thermoplastic elastomers, polyurethane foams, engineering resins, ABS.
It is recommended for evaluation in all clear, white, or light-colored polymeric systems requiring protection against oxidation.
It is highly recommended for use in natural and synthetic latex rubber.
WESTCO™ AO-2246 complies with FDA 21CFR 177.2600 for rubber and plastic articles that come in to contact with foodstuff.
