UV-531 is a 2-hydroxy-4-octyloxy benzophenone (benzophenone-12) by Xiangyang King Success Fine Chemical. It acts as a light stabilizer. It is recommended for PE, PVC, PP, PS, PC organic glass, polypropylene fiber and ethylene-vinyl acetate. It is a non-toxic grade that can absorb UV radiation of 240-340 nm wavelength. It offers light color, good compatibility, low mobility, easy processing and delayed yellowing. It exhibits very good light-stability effect on drying phenol aldehyde, polyurethane, acrylate. The dosage level of UV-531 is 0.1%-0.5%.
