Bis (2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) sebaceate. Low molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS). Also acts as a dispersing agent. Compared to conventional UV-absorbers, its effectiveness is less dependent on the polymer’s thickness. Used in PP, EPDM, ABS, SAN, ASA, PS, polyacetals, polyamides, polyurethane applications as well as in films and tapes.
