Priacid™ DC1195 (Formerly Crodacid™ DC1195) by Cargill is a high-purity azelaic acid for high-performance polymers. It is characterized by low melting point, low color and clarity. It provides better solubility, low solution viscosity and better dye receptivity. It exhibits improved flexibility, reduced moisture uptake and good hydrolytic stability. Also, it offers abrasion resistance and excellent purity for enhanced mechanical properties. Priacid™ DC1195 is recommended for biopolymers and applications like polyamide, polyamide hotmelt modification, polyesters and polyester coating modification.
